Description
PNC-27 joins a sequence from the HDM-2-binding domain of p53 to a membrane-residency peptide, which helps it enter cell membranes.
Research context
In cell-culture studies it is examined for its interaction with HDM-2 at the cell surface and for selective membrane effects on transformed cell lines. Use is limited to in-vitro research.
