Description
ARA-290, also called cibinetide, is an 11-residue peptide modelled on a surface region of erythropoietin (EPO). It binds the ‘innate repair receptor’ (EPOR/CD131) without stimulating red-cell production.
Research context
It is used in research on tissue-protective signalling and nerve-injury models.
