Description
LL-37 is the only human member of the cathelicidin family of antimicrobial peptides. Its 37 amino acids start with two leucines.
Research context
It is a standard tool in innate-immunity research, used to study membrane disruption of microbes, biofilm models and immune-signalling roles.
