Description
Kisspeptin-10 is the shortest active fragment (ten amino acids) of the kisspeptin peptides encoded by the KISS1 gene, and it activates the KISS1 receptor (GPR54).
Research context
Because kisspeptin signalling sits upstream of GnRH release, it is a key tool in reproductive-axis and puberty-onset research.
