Description

CJC-1295 no DAC, also called modified GRF (1-29), is the first 29 amino acids of GHRH with four substitutions that resist enzymatic breakdown. It has no albumin-binding group.
CJC-1295 no DAC research context
Its short action makes it suited to studies of pulsatile GH release that mimic the natural GHRH pattern, often alongside a ghrelin-receptor agonist.
CJC-1295 (no DAC) at a glance
- Compound: GHRH (1-29) with four substitutions that resist enzymatic breakdown
- Target: GHRH receptor
- Research areas: pulsatile GH release, often with a ghrelin-receptor agonist
- Supplied as: 10 mg lyophilized powder in a sealed glass vial
Handling and reconstituting CJC-1295 no DAC
Let the vial reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, sterile water or a buffer suited to your assay, adding the diluent slowly down the vial wall and swirling gently rather than shaking. If the powder doesn’t dissolve fully, a dilute acetic acid solution may help where your protocol allows. Aliquot the reconstituted peptide to avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles, and record the lot number with your experimental data.
