Description
AOD-9604 is a 16-amino-acid analogue of the 176–191 region at the tail end of the growth hormone molecule, with an added tyrosine at the N-terminus.
Research context
It was developed to separate the lipid-metabolism effects of that fragment from the growth-promoting effects of full-length GH. It is used in studies of lipolysis and fragment-specific GH signalling.
